List Sorter Online Tool

This tool is an alphabetical order sorter. That means that it takes your list, break it into individual items, and sorts them in alphabetical order.

The input list, as well as the output list, can have different formatting. Items can be on different lines or on the same line but separated by a special character.

You are also able to put the words in ABC order by choosing a space as the input separator.

• Trim Items: removes all spaces, tabs, and new line characters around the items of the input list. Default value: enabled.
• Remove Empty Lines: if enabled, all lines without characters or with just spaces and tabs are deleted. Default value: disabled.
• Case Sensitive: controls whether small and big letters should be together or in different groups. Default value: disabled.
• Ignore Articles (a, an, the): whether English articles should be skipped. In that case, only the next symbols (after the article and space) are used to determine the place the of item in the output list. Default value: disabled.
• Sort Order: sets the order of items in the sorted list. Natural means that numbers will go from smallest to biggest. Unicode option sorts character by character using Unicode numbers. Default value: Natural.
• Reverse Order: turn the result list upside down. Default value: disabled.
• Input Separator: determine the character that separates the items in the input list. Default value: New Line.
• Output Separator: sets a character that is used for formatting of the result list. Default value: New Line.
• Add Space After Separator: enable / disable additional space for separation of the output items. If Output Separator is set to New Line or Space, this option is off and can't be changed because the space is not needed for that case.
